Cleft Teams
Cleft teams are all so very different than one another, and choosing a cleft team to trust with your child’s care can be daunting. There are so many teams out there, with so many different approaches and techniques, that you may not know where to start. That’s where Cleftopedia comes in – we’ve partnered with cleft mommies around the US, and even a few abroad, to collect detailed information about their experiences with their cleft teams and surgeons. As a result, we are proud to present a listing of cleft teams that contains more comprehensive information than was ever available to cleft mommies before, hopefully making this decision just a little bit easier for you!
Whether you have just found out that your child is going to be born with a cleft lip and/or palate, or you’re an existing mom of child with a cleft lip/and or palate and are looking to relocate; we hope that our list of cleft teams helps you along your journey.
In this section, you will find details about pre-surgical techniques, post-surgical restrictions, age requirements for surgeries, future surgeries required, and so much more. We captured real-life comments about the overall team and surgeon experience, and many mommies have even shared before and after photos of their beautiful babies for you to see actual results of cleft lip repair.
If you would like to submit information about your experience with your cleft team or surgeon, or you have found an error and would like to provide updated information to an existing cleft team or surgeon in this database, please do so using the “Add Your Team” option under the Contact Us section of this site.
